Eric Prior comes from a family of farmers in Kent and Sussex. After finishing school, he initially worked on his father’s farm, focusing on sheep and beef cattle. Later, he enlisted in the Royal Air Force and subsequently transitioned into the field of marketing, where he collaborated with major global companies. Eventually, he established his own marketing firm, which he managed until his retirement. His interest in birdkeeping began over 40 years ago, starting with Budgerigars and expanding to include various Australian Parakeets, such as the Grass Parakeets.
